MacKay Shields Rolls out Markit EDM

Markit, a leading, global financial information services company, has rolled out Markit Enterprise Data Management (EDM) to MacKay Shields, a US-based investment firm with approximately $78 billion in assets under management.  As part of the implementation, Citisoft, a global investment management consultancy, worked closely with MacKay Shields and Markit, playing an integral role in the management and deployment of the Markit EDM solution.

Markit EDM enables a streamlined, automated workflow, supporting operations across the front and back office.  It has allowed MacKay Shields to manage the way data is collected and distributed throughout its investment management systems.

EDM 9.0 Data Flow user guide now available

Markit EDM 8.5 documentation available on the wiki

The documentation for the next version of Markit EDM (8.5) is now available on the wiki here: Version 8.5 Documentation.  This version is in the final stages of testing and is expected to be released at the end of Sept 2012.

Markit completes acquisition of Cadis

Markit, a leading global financial information services company, today announced it has completed its acquisition of Cadis, the global enterprise data management specialist

The Cadis business, which will be re-branded Markit Enterprise Data Management, will operate as a business unit alongside Markit’s other enterprise solutions including Markit Analytics, Markit Portfolio Management and Markit on Demand. It will continue to be run by Daniel Simpson, Cadis’ CEO, who will also join Markit’s executive management team.
