Update to our news feed from Friday, 22 November 2013.
Bloomberg have announced that they will be making changes to their Per Security Web Service with effect from Friday 10th January 2014.
Bloomberg will be discontinuing the old feed on 31st March 2015, consequently any customer using the Markit EDM Per Security plugin will not be able to connect after 30th March unless they upgrade the plugin on or before that date.
Any client who has already upgraded their Per Security plugin following our original notification need take no further action. For clients that use the Markit EDM Per Security plugin and have not upgraded, please contact the Markit EDM Support team MEDM-Support@Markit.com immediately confirming which version(s) of EDM are affected and we will then supply the updated plugin and answer any questions you may have about the testing impact.
The change to the plugin is minor and Markit EDM can provide an upgrade of the plugin compatible with all EDM versions in use. No other aspects of Markit EDM are affected, and no development work is required as a result of this change. If you do not use the Markit EDM Per Security Plugin then no further action is needed.
