China Life Asset Management selects Markit’s enterprise data management platform.

Markit, a leading, global financial information services company, today announced that China Life Asset Management Company (CLAMC) has selected Markit’s enterprise data management (EDM) platform. The platform will act as a central hub for all of CLAMC’s securities, pricing, positions and transaction data. Markit EDM Version 9.5 released

Changes to the Bloomberg Per Security Web Service

Bloomberg have announced that they will be making changes to their Per Security Web Service with effect from Friday 10^th January 2014.
Consequently any customer using the Markit EDM Per Security plugin will not be able to connect after 10th January 2014 unless they upgrade the plugin on or before that date.

The change to the plugin is minor and Markit EDM will be providing an upgrade of the plugin compatible with all EDM versions in use.  No other aspects of Markit EDM are affected, and no development work is required as a result of this change. If you do not use the Markit EDM Per Security Plugin then no further action is needed.

If you do use the Markit EDM Per Security Plugin then please contact the Markit EDM Support team MEDM-Support@Markit.com immediately confirming which version(s) of EDM are affected and we will then supply the updated plugin and answer any questions you may have about the testing impact.

Bloomberg are running both the new and old versions of the Web Service in parallel until the 10^th January 2014 so you will be able to test and cut over at any point prior to this date.

Markit Data Distribution Platform plugin now available
